The British Council is delighted to offer its Newton Fund Institutional Links Grants. These grants are available for researchers from UK, Egypt, Thailand and Turkey.
The aim of the grants to build UK-partner country research and innovation collaborations centred on shared research and innovation challenges which have direct relevance to social welfare and economic development.
Course Level: Grants are available to pursue research programme.
Study Subject: Grants are awarded in the field of country research and innovation collaborations centred on shared research and innovation challenges which have direct relevance to social welfare and economic development.
Scholarship Award: Size of grant: £50,000 – £300,000.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
Each proposal must have one Principal Applicant from the UK, as well as a Principal Applicant from the partner countries listed above.
All Principal Applicants must be Leading Researchers or Established Researchers as defined by the EC here.
